Craig,
Thanks so much for teaching a really great class on how to teach the basics of shotgun. You are very well organized, professional and skillfull in teaching, "how to teach". It was a pleasure taking your class and I look forward to using the teaching skills I learned in your class to teach others.
All the best to you,

Liebsch

I have been teaching many disciplines for at least 17 years now. I have a very strong firearm/shooting background. BUT! I still walked away from your class with new information. I think that speaks volumes for your class.

I took the instructors course with Craig and it was fantastic. His course material was incredibly well organised and easy to follow. He made the whole experience FUN.

In May of 2004 I participated in a class given by Craig Cox at Rio Salado Sportsman's club. This was an NRA certified class to teach pistol and personal protection. I thought the instructor, Craig Cox, was excellent as an instructor both in the class room and at the range. As a result of taking and passing this class, I was able to become certified to teach CCW classes for the Department of Public Safety in Arizona.  I would recommend any firearms class that Craig Cox offers.

I am a sixty year old combat veteran of the Vietnam War, and have had many firearms classes, both military and civilian.  Craig has a real talent for teaching, as he brings the subject matter to life by involving his students in the class.  This makes the time seem to fly by, as well as make the subject matter real to his students.  I'm very happy to recommend Craig for any phase of firearms training you may require.

Sincerely,

Mr. Cox,

I wanted to take a minute to compliment you on the scope and manner in which you conduct your Rifle, Pistol, and Home Defense classes. As an experienced “Gun Guy” we grow complacent in our own knowledge and experience. We think that, “Nobody can show me anything new in teaching Marksmanship and Firearm Safety. In fact, I should be teaching this class”. By a quirk of fate, the class in which I was enrolled was entirely populated with “Gun Guys”, that is, Police Officers, Concealed Carry Instructors and over confident Gunsmiths. Your ability to maintain our interest and show a new perspective on material we all had thought we already knew was refreshing. It was not a case of simply sitting there and waiting to get my box checked, so that I could go home. You showed me a better way to teach a subject in which I thought I was completely familiar.

Again, GOOD JOB!

I recentrly took one of Mr. Cox's BIT, Basic Pistol Instructor, and Personal Protection in the Home Instructor Courses. I found Craig to be very knowledgable and I could tell that he enjoyed sharing that knowledge. I also found Craig to be very personable which made him a more effective instructor. His course was informative and fun, both in the classroom and on the range.

I have been involved in public safety as a peace officer and paramedic for nineteen years. In that time I have served as a SWAT operator and have attended numerous advanced tactical shooting courses, including the United States Border Patrol firearms training program. I put Craig in the same caliber and class as these instructors.

Dear Craig,

Jay and I had a GREAT summer at the YMCA Chauncey Ranch camp this year, one week left!  Some of the kids comments were that they learned more in our first day of classroom (did the "First Steps I and II" for 1.5 hours before going to the range. Any child could do shooting sports) than they did in their Hunter Safety Course.  It was great teaching them the correct way of doing things through your NRA training and look forward to hearing from you when you will offer the NRA Instructor Course for Shotgun this Fall.

Thank you again,

Hello Craig,

I just wanted to say, I really enjoyed your Instructor Courses this past weekend.
It was thoroughly enjoyable and I walked away with some really great insight and knowledge that you just absolutely impart to your students. With the outstanding manner in which you instruct, no one could walk away from one of your classes without having learned a great deal, from the beginner to the advanced student.

One can tell that you take great pride in what you do as it shows through in the meticulous manner in which you formulate your classes and your methods of instruction.

I hope to see you later this year for the Rifle and Shotgun portions of the training as well. I also hope to take the Personal Defense Outside the Home class when you start teaching that, so sign me up! I eventually would like to take the instructor portion of that too when you start teaching it.

You are totally awesome and a great guy Craig! I volunteer my assistance freely anytime you need it with any of your classes.

I also met some really great and outstanding individuals in the class that made it that much more enjoyable, and just goes to show how great the people are that enjoy an interest in the shooting sports and their many applications.

Thanks for your time and have a great day.

Regards,
William

Craig,

I thoroughly enjoyed your NRA Basic Pistol, Home Protection and NRA Instructor classes; excellent coverage of the material, great personal experiences. The quality of your instruction was top-notch. I submitted my paperwork to the NRA Tuesday the 31st, and look forward to receiving my own instructor credentials.

I remain interested in a reloading class; not sure when you might have time, but it’s something I would benefit from. I would also appreciate knowing what other classes you have scheduled, and when, if you’d care to copy me on your schedule from time-to-time.

Thanks again for an excellent learning experience.
